Weekending


This weekend was...

eggs goldenrod
blueberry muffins with fresh blueberries
rediscovering the rice bin
raking, hoeing, burning
planting flowers, a first for me
opening windows
the removal of shoes
Silas "reading" a book to me (reciting, correctly, the entire length while turning the pages)
Amazing Race
ham steaks and hominy (with which I am having a love affair)

    1. Like what they use in posole. I make it with a cheesy sauce and it satisfies my cravings for mac and cheese without the pasta. :)

  4. I love that Silas is reading to you, so sweet.

    My father was a huge hominy and grits lovers, I can handle grits,but have never really cared for hominy. My father in law would eat a can a day, now that's love!
