We may not have the farm, but now we do have a Farm Beanie. Only two months after Christmas, Steve now has his gift and it's keeping him snug and warm. I used Sublime's cashmere merino silk in the colorways Skipper and Latte. The yarn is absolutely dreamy, if I do say so myself; so incredibly soft. I've done this pattern once before and I think it's a keeper. Simple and fast, but not at all boring.
As for reading, I just finished up Designs for Living and Learning and am almost through Working in the Reggio Way. So helpful! I was already starting to get into Reggio, but after seeing this post and reading these too books, I'm realizing that this was the way I was already living and working, I just didn't have the words to describe it. I absolutely love the idea of setting up "invitations" to learning and project-based learning really resonates with me.
