Well hello there! We only just popped inside for a snack, some water, and to nurse, but we're headed right back out. The siren song of the freshly raked piles of leaves is too strong for either of us to resist. We have some visiting to do as well; the warmth of the day has awakened the boxelder bugs and Silas would like to bend down and ask some questions of each one. Then there are the squirrels, of course. We know they're hiding in the trees, we're just not sure which one. Some quick investigative work is sure to yield results, though. We just have to follow the trail of empty walnut husks. Oh! That loud "mama!" I hear from the general vicinity of the front door surely means that it's time to go. Until next time!
