Recently I was lucky enough to win a giveaway hosted by Kim at Mothering with Mindfulness. Yesterday in the mail I received these awesome veggie notecards made by KC of Little Homestead in the Desert from her shop Olive and Owl. When I showed them to Steve he said that they looked very "me." Simple. Food-related. Handmade. I don't even think I have to say how much I love them, it must be obvious.
A long, long time ago I wrote about how I wanted to include more written correspondence in my weekly rhythm. Well, two years later and I don't think I've quite hit my goal. I did stay true to my new year's resolution of sending out birthday cards to all of our family members, but I haven't sent more than a half dozen cards or letters just because. Hopefully these new little canvases will help me get (back on) track.
Thank you so much Kim and KC!
Yay, you got them!!! They look beautiful, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThey are really pretty and I must agree with Steve, they do look very like you!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you are to win such lovely notecards. I enjoy receiving written correspondence but am notoriously bad at sending anything more than birthday/christmas cards. I recently took part in some 'swaps'(teabags, seeds and christmas ornaments) on various blogs, it's lovely to receive things from overseas especially when they are accompanied by beautifully a handwritten note.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you love them! Thanks for the link up!
