This Moment

Playing along with SouleMama today. In her words: {this moment} A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.

Yesterday I inadvertently dressed Silas and myself in matchy-matchy outfits; turquoise tops and gray pants for both of us. I think my need for mother/child clothing is bubbling dangerously close to the surface!

Two giveaways to enter this week! Enter to win a bentwood headband from Bentwood Bands and a bamboo iPhone case from OpenSky!

  4. But you two look great! I would occasionally match the boys with their dad...much to their embarrassment now:) Have a great weekend!

  7. I end up matching with one or both of my boys occasionally and always feel a little embarrassed about it. Not today though - my boys are in pastel pink and lime green respectively and I'm wearing boring old grey.

  11. I sometimes find that I have dressed Phoebe and myself in the same color scheme as well. Funny, isn't it? Have a great weekend!

  12. Wow, C, you look fantastic! Nothing wrong with dressing alike. We only have a few years left before they won't think it's cool anymore, right? ;)

  13. As an early childhood teacher who sees moms and kids every day, I can tell you everyone does it at some point. You're in a grey-and-turquoise mood, you're dressing both of you, you do it and don't even notice. I think it's a great outward expression of the inward synchronicity that goes on between kids and parents all the time. (You both look great.)

  14. I am always dressing my family alike by accident. Even the hubby gets in on it. We all have a great laugh!
