Weekending

This weekend saw some
chocolate buttermilk cake baking, major sleep shifting (3 1/2 hour afternoon nap? Say what?),
bunting sewing, snow shoveling, birthday planning,
new food trying (cauliflower), baby clothes sorting and storing,
long overdue dusting, book reading,
and mint tea drinking.

How was your weekend?

  1. It sounds like you had a busy weekend with some quiet time added in for good measure. My kind of weekend!! We had fun with family and friends and watched our beloved NY Giants kick some booty yesterday. The perfect ending for a great weekend!! : )

  2. Sounds like you have a little fellow who is getting ready to have a major growth spurt! At least he isn't big enough to open the fridge door all by himself...yet!

  8. Oh, don't you love naps!?! It sounds as if your weekend had a bit of everything. As for me -- breakfast with friends, a movie, breaking ice in the backyard, finished making a heart wreath (love how it came out!), fed the wild birds and saw four woodpeckers in the front yard, bought groceries, read a little, knitted a bit, laundry...... and tomorrow is work.

  9. What a lovely week-end. Mine involved Sunday School teaching (cutting, pasting, laughing), granddaughter snuggling and family gathering.
